Aboriginal Art Sites & Ubirr Rock Sunset 29/06/16

After the cruise we went to a town called Jabiru for lunch.

We then headed to Anbangbang which is an aboriginal art site. There were loads of paintings on the rock that each told a particular story. Many of them were warnings and pictures of different spirits. Some of them were thousands of years old.

From there we hiked to Gunwarrdehwarrdeh look out, which had amazing views.

We the briefly stopped at a cultural centre and then went back to the hotel. Aft5er we had got changed, we headed to Ubirr Rock to watch the sunset.

We had to hike to the top, but the view was completely worth it. You could see for miles across Kakdu. It reminded me a lot of being in Africa.

We then headed back to the hotel for dinner. I tried a Barramundi fish for the first time which was really nice. After dinner we were so tired we went straight to bed.
