Alice Springs 03/07/16

After another couple of hours we made it to Alice Springs. We stopped at the sign for a few photos and went to climb a lookout point where you could see the whole town.

We were staying at the Alice Springs Ibis. We had some free time in the afternoon so Kath, Emily, Kayla and I wandered around Alice Springs for a bit. Emily and I decided to book a hot air balloon tour for the morning, which meant we had to be up at 5am :( After townm we went back to the hotel to get ready for dinner. We all got dressed up and went to a bar called Uncles Tavern. 

 We started drinking with dinner and just carried on! Most of us then went to a pub called Montes and stayed there for the rest of the night. We gradually got drunk on champagne, wine and 'CSC' shots.Gradually people started to leave until there was only 5 of us- me, Kath, Emily, Loz and Ricky. We decided to take 'duck face selfies'.

After a very drunken walk home we got to the hotel around 1.30ish. We were very keen to jump in the pool but luckily it was locked or I think one of us would have drowned! The walk home was blurry but I remember Kath and I both getting into her coat cause we were so cold! After some dancing when we got in, we all went to bed/passed out around 2am.
