After our base walk I
went for lunch in Uluru with Kath, Kayla and Emily. We did some shopping and I brought a gorgeous mini lamp decorated in dreamcatcher pattern. It was quite small but I don't know how I'm going to get it home....
Kayla and I then had to
head back to the hotel as we had booked a Harley Davidson tour for the
afternoon.
We were driven around the base of Uluru, which was amazing. I thought I would feel nervous but after a while I was totally relaxed and didn't feel like I needed to hold on. Apart from at one point where a car completely cut us up on a roundabout. That's when I definitely realised how dangerous bikes can be!
During our ride we drove past the halfway point where Kath and I went the wrong way. I don't know how we missed it as the path was really obvious!
We also drove out to see Kata
Tjuta, which we would be hiking through later in the afternoon.
