In the evening, Kayla and
I went to Mindil Beach, which is famous in Darwin for its sunset market. There
are loads of food and craft stalls and live performances all throughout the
evening.
We explored the market
for a bit and went to buy dinner. I got a Chinese and Seafood combo which was delicious. We then went to watch a
Didgeridoo show. I'd never seen one played before, but I was told the two guys were incredible. They sounded great!
After we had looked round
the market we went and brought fruit salads to take to the beach. The sunset
really lived up to its reputation.
They sky turned bright red. It was an
incredible view.
As we headed to get a
taxi to the market we saw a guy performing with a rodeo whip which was really
impressive.
When we got back to the hostel I chilled in my room with Marie, Sam and Kez
before going to bed.
