This morning we started
our journey to Uluru. The first activity of the day was to ride Camels. I went
on with Kayla.
We got to ride around a paddock and then the camels run along a
straight length. It was quite similar to horse riding but a lot more scary
getting on and off. When the camel dropped it took me completely by surprise and I forgot to lean back. I thought I was going to go flying over the front. My face says it all in the picture.
We then kept driving to
see some Salt Lakes which was pretty cool. We walked up a really steep sand bank and then saw the lakes in the distance.
We also saw Mount Connor, which is a rock known as
‘Fooluru’. It did look really similar to Uluru so I can understand why people
get them mixed up.
