Valley of the Winds at Kata Tjuta 06/07/16

In the evening, we headed to Kata Tjuta, which are a collection of huge rocks known as the Olgas.

We had a really tough hike through the Valley of the Winds. The 7.5k walk was killer, especially having walked 10k around Uluru in the morning. Can't believe how much I am enjoying walking, considering I am normally the person who drives from one side of campus to the other. I didn't think I'd be able to do it with my dodgy hip, but being active has really helped!

We had to climb a practically vertical hill to get to the top, but the view was incredible, especially as the sun was starting to set.

For dinner, we ate at the hotel and just chilled out with some wine. We were so exhausted we went to bed pretty quickly.
