We left slightly later
than anticipated this morning, as we were both tired from our night out. We got
an Uber to Bondi Beach, which I was super excited about. James and I met up
with a couple of his friends, Amy and Janice who were also English. One of the first things I saw was camels on the beach which was unexpected!
At home, I am addicted to Bondi Rescue so I was being a massive nerd and taking
a million photos. I went and stood in front of the lifeguard tower and then ran down to the water,
Whilst I was in the water, Harries, one of the more known lifeguards from Bondi Rescue ran past, which I was very excited about. James decided to embarrass me and shout out his name which was quite funny after I’d recovered from the shame!
When I'd recovered, I took a few photos with a rescue board and then went and paddled in the water,

The weather was
absolutely gorgeous! It was so warm which made a change from the winter days I
had gotten used to. The waves were absolutely huge, so I could see how so many people need
rescuing there! We then started the Bondi
to Coogee Coastal Walk.
The walk is around 6k along the coast that takes you through Bondi, Bronte, Tamarama and Coogee beaches, The scenery was gorgeous.
Some of the walk was closed
due to damage from storms a couple of months previous. A lot of the path was
really smashed up. After a couple of hours we got to Coogee, and went to a cute
restaurant called Coogee Pavilion, with a rooftop bar.
We were very English and got a jug of Pimms and some snacks to enjoy in the sunshine. James and I then got an Uber back to the apartment so I could pick up my stuff, and then James drove me to Circular Quay.
