Loz's 25th Ugly Jumper Party 23/07/16

Considering how late we went to bed, Kath and I woke up early at around 8.30ish. I surprisingly felt absolutely fine, but Kath felt really hungover.

We chatted for a bit and then got ready and walked to Turtle Café in Ellwood for a hangover brunch. I had a Turtle Benedict which was French toast, poached egg, bacon, and spinach. Absolutely delicious!

Kath started feeling really sick, and I was getting super tired, so we went back to hers for a nap. We forgot to set an alarm so woke up a lot later than intended to around 4ish. Kath felt a lot better but I felt a lot worse. It was like a delayed hangover.

We had Loz’s 25^th birthday party in the evening which was an ugly jumper themed party. We tried to go ‘opp shopping’ (charity shopping), but the jumpers they had were nowhere near ugly enough.

We stopped at Nandos, and then went to Southland to look in Kmart. We couldn’t think of what to do for ages, which didn’t help with hangovers, but Kath came up with the idea of plain jumpers and writing our own memes.

We got Loz’s present and then went back to Kaths. We hung out with her flatmates, Hannah and Felicity, and then got ready. After much deliberation, we decided on ‘we won the ugly jumper comp’.

We got ready and put on our massive hoop earings I had found. I realised that they were actually a lot bigger so neither of us decided to wear them for too long.

Kath drove us to Loz and Amys’ house in Viewbank, where we met Emily, Anna, Mel and Ricky, all from our Topdeck tour. We also got to see Loz and Amys puppy, Parker, who we had heard a lot about. We spent the night chatting and reminiscing about our tour and took the last 'duck face' shot with the last 5 standing.

 It was great to see everyone from tour, as we all got on so well as a group. Saying goodbye was really strange, knowing I won't see everyone for a really long time :(

Kath and I left around 11ish, and after a quick stop at 7/11 for a sausage roll, went home for an early night. I was still feeling a bit rough so avoiding drinking at Loz’s. We planned to get up early the next day so Kath could show me the Pennisula.
