Eureka Skydeck & Hosier Lane 21/07/16

This morning I went back into Melbourne City. I went straight to Melbourne Central train station and wandered round the shops for a little while. It’s absolutely huge so I got lost really easily.

I met up with Loz in the afternoon which turned into a massive challenge to find each other. I had no idea where I was going, but after around 20 minutes of 'where are you' phone calls, we managed to meet. We walked around the city for a while and then down Southbank, which was right by the river.

We then went to the Eureka Skydeck, which has the highest public viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere. Its 88 floors up, and 285m. It reminded me of when I went up the Blackpool Tower, but much higher!

We did a few laps round the top of the tower then went to the outside viewing platform. We obviously took a duck face selfie.  You could see the whole of Melbourne from the tower, which made me realise how huge the city actually is.

We walked back down Southbank to Degraves Street, and then Hosier Lane, which is famous for being the street covered in graffiti.

It was so colourful and every part of the street was sprayed, even the wheelie bins.

I took so loads of photos and then we both got trains home.

Em picked me up from the station and then we went out for dinner to a placed called Rococo, which was an Italian restaurant in Hawthorne. Em gave me a little bracelet which was super cute from an Australian company to remember my time there :)

We had a delicious dinner and then popped in to Emily’s boyfriend Bens house. Afterwards, we went home and I had to pack up all my stuff, as I'm staying with Kath for the weekend. I eventually finished sorting everything and went to bed.
