Kath and I got up early and
chilled for a bit before heading back to Turtle Café for a quick tea stop. We then drove to the
Mornington Penninsula all along the beach. The scenary was gorgeous. We went to a
really cool restaurant called Commonfolk Coffee for brunch, which was delicious.
This time we both actually got to eat it without feeling sick!
Kath then drove me to
Safety Beach, which was gorgeous. Apparently it used to be called Shark Bay but for some reason that didn’t bring in too many tourists.
Kath took me to all the
places where she grew up around Melbourne. We went to Mount Eliza and
Frankston, and stopped at a little pier that Kath said people can
jump off in the summer into the bay.
We then drove to Brighton
beach, which had loads of cute beach houses by the water painted in different
patterns.
The most unusual we found was a boxing kangaroo. We took selfies in
front of a few and then walked along the beach.
You could see the city from the
beach which looked really cool.
We went back to Kaths and
I sorted my suitcase out ready to leave again. We popped to the supermarket,
then had a glass of wine while we waited for Em to come and pick me up. Emily
and Ben picked me up so I had to say goodbye to Kath which was really sad. We had all got really close in the last month so it was horrible to think I wouldn't be able to see her or Em :(
Emily and I drove back to
Blackburn but made a quick stop at Ramsey Street on the way. Even though it was dark, we could see all of the houses and some of the set where they film.
We wanted to get out, but there was a security guard who was looking at us funny and we didn't think he we would let us. When we got home, we had some dinner and wine and then hung out with John and Lisa for a while. We
stayed up as long as we could as we were so tired, but eventually went to bed.
