Otways National Park & Kennett Creek 18/07/16

Our first stop this morning was the Otways National Park where we would be going on two different hikes. The first was to Houptoun Falls, which was a gorgeous waterfall. There were so many stairs as usual, but the view was definitely worth it.

We then drove to the Beauchamp Falls Walk, which was another waterfall. With this one, Sid showed us a way to climb off track and get right next to the waterfall which was amazing!

We left the Otways and carried on along the Great Ocean Road through Apollo Bay. The views were absolutely gorgeous. We stopped at a few lookout points along the way for some photos, including Cape Patton.

For lunch we stopped at Kennett Creek, which had koalas, parrots and cockatoos in the trees.

We each got given bird food and the parrots would fly down and eat off you hand. At one point I had one on my head, shoulder and each arm.

We had a picnic lunch and then carried on driving along the Great Ocean Road.
